Fertility massage according to Dr Gowri Matha

Fertility massages treat the reflex zones that improve circulation to a woman’s reproductive organs (uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries) and also encourages detoxification.

The massage involves targeted manipulation that address three areas:

  • Nape and shoulders
  • Kidney region
  • Lower abdomen

Besides the support provided before and during artificial insemination, the massage as an ideal way to reduce feelings like fear, desperation, sadness and disappointment to a salubrious level.

The most important aim of this method is to create favourable conditions for conception.

The fertility massage can be used in cases of:

  • Irregular cycles
  • Period pain
  • Hormonal fluctuation
  • Unfulfilled desire to conceive
  • After miscarriages
  • Endometriosis
  • PCO syndrome
  • Symptoms of menopause
  • If the woman a psychological burden due to her desire to conceive
  • Irregular periods

The method was developed by Dr Gowri Motha, a gynaecologist from India who practices medicine in her own surgery in London, as well as in fertility clinics. Dr Gowri Motha was dissatisfied with the fertility rate following artificial insemination. Her search for an additional method brought her into contact with the fertility massage.
